Well the llamas are at it again. Creating beautiful projects just for you from all the wonderful Stampin' Up! products out there. This time we are using the soon to be retired 2010-2012 In Colors and/or beautiful spring images from either the 2012 Occasions Mini Catalog or the Idea Book & Catalog, including this month's sneak peek at the Summer Smooches line. If you have been following along in this hop, you have hopped to the end and you should have arrived from the wonderful blog of
Stephanie M. If not that is okay, at the end of this entry will be links to get you on the right track.
The first project I wanted to share with you today is something that I recently read about in my monthly demonstrator's magazine. A digital cookbook! I was so inspired I started a family cookbook shortly after reading the article. Needless to say, I will probably be working on that cookbook for a while. They may be Christmas 2014 presents. The theme for that cookbook is slightly different from the page I am sharing with you today. This page shown below is a spring inspired page using In Colors and the Summer Smooches downloads that are available now.
I used an 8x8 custom created scrapbook page in My Digital Studio. The stamp set used is the Summer Smooches Bright Blossoms. Colors and papers used were Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzazz Stripes Designer Series Paper, Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper, Concord Crush, and Poppy Parade. Basic Pearls and the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Punch helped accessorize the page.
Don't you think these would make great gifts. Whether you print a few recipes or a whole book, a custom cookbook is a perfect one-of-a-kind gift.
My card happened kind of by accident. I had a card planned using the marking tapping technique for this month's stamp club, but unfortunately, the punch I has ordered for the project went on back order and won't arrive until after club night. So, having some of the new Summer Smooches products I set to work on a new project using some of what I had prepared of the other card.
For this hop, I changed up the color scheme to use the soon to be retired In Colors. I love creating cards that are different from the standard card. This one uses the love note size card on a standard size background.
Sets: Bright Blossoms
Card Stock: Pear Pizzazz (5 1/2 x 4 1/4, 3 x 6), Whisper White (5 1/4 x 4, 2 x 2), Poppy Parade (2 1/4 x 2 1/4)

Accessories: Big Shot, Stripes Embossing Folder, Pocket Full of Posies Designer Series Paper (4 x 1), Ribbon Border Punch, Stampin' Sponges
So this is the official end to the Colors of Spring Llama Hop, but that doesn't mean it's over. Use one of the links below to take you either to our first hop post Linda, or to the previous page Stephanie. Thanks for hopping with us and happy stamping!
